Join us for the Australian Science Communicators Eleventh National Conference, ASC2020. Thanks to our major sponsor Monash Sustainable Development Institute, we will be returning to Victoria for the first time in over a decade, with the conference to be held in the new Learning and Teaching Building at Monash Campus from 17-19th February 2020. Be prepared for pre-conference fun on Sunday 16th February.

Join us for the Australian Science Communicators Eleventh National Conference, ASC2020 in Melbourne. This is the premier Australian networking, knowledge making and professional development opportunity for those making science and technology accessible for the broader community.

Thanks to our major sponsor Monash Sustainable Development Institute, the conference is being held over three full days in the new Learning and Teaching Building at Monash Campus, Monday 17 through Wednesday 19 February 2020.

ASC2020 will focus on priorities, policies and publics for human survival with streams on environment and sustainability communication, impact communication and more.

If your membership has lapsed or you have never been a member of the ASC you are welcome to renew or join immediately in order to be eligible for member discounted conference tickets. How do I get to the conference and can I park my car if I’m driving?

Refer to the location page on the conference website.

 

Are group discounts available?

Yes. Group discounts will be available for three or more individuals from the same employer when made in a single purchase. Contact the organiser to arrange an invoice.

 

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Your ticket is fully transferrable and non-refundable. To transfer your ticket to another delegate simply contact the conference organiser with details.

Your ticket is non-refundable but fully transferrable. To transfer your ticket to another delegate simply contact the conference organiser with details.

 

Does the event include catering?

The event offers both catered and uncatered options. 

For those who purchase catered conference tickets the three days include tea and coffee, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. 

Uncatered tickets: Skip the conference catering and BYO lunch and snacks or find food on campus during the lunch break.

Networking sessions are available during registration (or add them later).
